Some of St. Luke’s programs
Feed the Kids
After church on Sundays, we provide a free, hot and nutritious lunch for our children. Food is prepared by a rotation of dedicated volunteers, including members of the Episcopal Food Ministry (EFM).
Vacation Bible school
One week during the summer, we host a Vacation Bible School for children. The program, which seems to grow every year in attendance, is free and includes dinner every night. Also, at the end of the week, we treat the children to a special field trip.
Sunday school
Every Sunday morning our children meet at 9:20 a.m. for singing and then Sunday School. Classes are grouped by grade level and are led by trained church members. The church has been using Anglican curriculum published by David C. Cook.
Summer camp
St. Luke’s pays all costs for a week-long summer camp for children who meet church attendance and behavior goals.
WOW
Women of the church meet once a month excluding January and February to raise money for St. Luke’s ministries, programs and activities. A recent fundraiser focused on new outfits for our acolytes.
Men’s prayer breakfast
Join us at the church the last Thursday of every month at 7 a.m. for fellowship and prayer.
